Die Schrift „Margret“ ist eine kursive Handschrift, die als Hommage an meine Großmutter gewidmet ist. Die Schrift ist eine Mischung aus Eleganz und Rustikalität, die die ländliche Ästhetik des Bauernhofs, auf dem meine Großmutter lebt, widerspiegelt und dennoch elegant und charakterstark. Einige Buchstaben fließen sanft ineinander über, andere Buchstaben sind klar voneinander getrennt. Trotz leicht kursiver Handschrift, erkennt man deutlich, dass viele Buchstaben einen neuen Anfang haben. Die geschwungenen Linien verleiht der Schrift eine warme, persönliche Note. Trotz der nostalgischen Anmutung ist die Schrift gut lesbar und vielseitig einsetzbar. So kann diese Schrift in persönlichen Projekten, wie Einladungen oder Grußkarten oder im Branding und Marketing verwendet werden, wo die Schrift in Logos, Visitenkarten, Broschüren oder Websites ein nostalgisches oder handgefertigtes Gefühl vermittelt. „Margret“ ist mehr als eine Schriftart - sie ist eine liebevolle Erinnerung an meine Großmutter und ihre Handschrift, die in jedem Buchstaben zum Ausdruck kommt. Diese Schrift ist noch in ihren Anfängen und durch die Komplexität einer Handschrift ist es ein laufendes Projekt.
engl.: The "Margret" typeface is a cursive handwriting font dedicated as a tribute to my grandmother. The font is a blend of elegance and rusticity, reflecting the rural aesthetics of the farm where my grandmother lives while remaining elegant and full of character. Some letters flow gently into one another, while others are clearly separated. Despite its slightly cursive handwriting style, it's evident that many letters have a new beginning. The curved lines give the font a warm, personal touch. Despite its nostalgic appearance, the font is highly legible and versatile. This font can be used in personal projects such as invitations or greeting cards, or in branding and marketing where the font conveys a nostalgic or handcrafted feel in logos, business cards, brochures, or websites. "Margret" is more than just a typeface - it's a loving tribute to my grandmother and her handwriting, expressed in every letter.
This font is still in its early stages, and due to the complexity of handwriting, it remains an ongoing project.
